Dignity Health St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital’s (SJPVH) Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Healing Center has been named a 2015 Center of Distinction by Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. SJPVH is the only hospital in the county and among only 221 hospitals across the country to receive this designation.

“It is an honor to be the only hospital in Ventura County to receive this distinction this year,” said Darren Lee, President and CEO at St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital and St. John’s Regional Medical Center. “The health of our patients is always our number one priority and this award is a reflection of the dedication our wound healing team has for the patients we serve.”

This award has been presented to the SJPVH Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Healing Center for achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 months, attaining patient satisfaction scores higher than 92 percent, and maintaining a higher than 91 percent wound healing rate.

The SJPVH Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Healing Center is a member of the Healogics network of nearly 800 Centers, and provides access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating approximately 2.5 million chronic wounds.
